Helping the Hungry and Homeless in Central Oklahoma.
We are a publicly-supported, non-profit focused on meeting the needs of a hurting world. We do this primarily through giving food to the hungry and providing transitional housing for the homeless.
We offer food to ANYONE and EVERYONE. For our records we would like to have an ID and address but it is not necessary to receive food.
Volunteer with us
Mission Norman has volunteer opportunities for churches, small groups, businesses, individuals, and families. We currently have these list of volunteer needs:
Answering the phone
Checking in clients for food using our computer
Working in the pantry helping clients with food
Helping maintain the grounds with mowing, edging and general clean-up
Because of your generosity, we gave out more than 300 Thanksgiving meals to families in need this season. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! We are so grateful.
Building Hope Project
What is it?
Did you know that we are planning to build a new facility that will help us serve families in need more efficiently and at a greater capacity?
Did you know that we have been offered a challenge grant from the J.E. and L. E. Mabee foundation, Inc in the amount of $100,000?
Can we count on you?
